ACCOUNTING

BKDLLP Accounting Fund

Dalton, Betty Memorial Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Mike & Sheila Ingram
  • Open to upper-division or Graduate level students
  • Restricted to Accounting majors

Hamilton, Carl & Anna Scholarship

  • Established by Carl & Anna Hamilton
  • Full-time Business students
  • Minimum of Sophmore level, enrolled in Five-year CPA Track at SNU
  • Accountng Majors with a minimum 3.25 GPA to enter and maintain award
  • Awards in amounts up to $1,000

Muse, Judith Payne Memorial Scholarship

  • Established by Mr. & Mrs. Frank E. Payne, parents, and funded by Dr. Muse's extended family
  • Restricted to accounting majors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Amount varies

Willard, Roger & Kathy Scholarship

  • Established by Mr. & Mrs. Roger Willard
  • Preference for upper division Accounting or Finance majors
  • Freshmen not eligible to apply
  • 3.5 GPA minimum
  • $1,000 increments (when possible)

AVIATION

Methfessel, Dean Memorial Scholarship

  • Established by Mr. Harry Pierce, friend
  • Provides aid for full-time students enrolled in the SNU Aviation Program who wish to pursue a career, or ministry, related to aviation
  • Amount varies

Biggs, George & Marjorie Scholarship

  • Established by Prof. & Mrs. George Biggs
  • Any undergraduate level of classification eligible
  • Based on financial need
  • Increments of $500 (when possible)

Brown, Donald I. Memorial Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Mrs. Donetta Brown
  • Restricted to Junior or Senior students in the School of Business
  • Amount varies

Caraway, Tom & Teresa Scholarship

  • Established by Tom & Dr. Teresa Caraway
  • Full-time upper-division student - "Retention effort"
  • Completing an undergraduate degree program in the SNU school of Business
  • Amount varies

Craddock-Cole Business Scholarship

  • Funded by friends and family of Drs. Harper Cole and Harry Craddock.
  • Restricted to students within the School of Business (any classification)
  • Candidates must show academic ability and financial need
  • Amount varies

Danskin, Dr. Donald Memorial Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Dr. Danskin and friends
  • Provides general grants based on academic ability and financial need
  • Available to any classification
  • Amount varies

Dozier, Harold W. & Joan M. Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Mr. & Mrs. Harold Dozier
  • Candidates must be married students, majoring in business, with a cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • Amount varies
  • Preference for veterans, or working students, no restrictions

  • Recipients must have a major within the School of Business

Harris, Noel D. Memorial Scholarship

  • Established by Prof. Iris, and Mr. David Harris, parents, and gifts from family and friends
  • Provides need-based scholarships for upper division students completing a degree in the School of Business
  • Recipients must have a 3.0 GPA to qualify
  • $1,000 minimum per award

Harwell, Devin Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Devin Harwell
  • Provides funds for any undergraduate-level Business student
  • Amount varies

Jones, Gerald & Brenda Albright Scholarship

  • Established by Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Albright
  • Restricted to upper division business administration majors with a 2.5 GPA or above
  • Amount varies

Lindquist Family Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Mr. Oscar Lindquist, and son, Mr. Phillip Lindquist
  • Provides scholarships for business majors who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and who has demonstrated a personal commitment to a dedicated Christian lifestyle
  • Amount varies

Macrory, Harry B. Memorial Pre-Law Business Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Dr. & Mrs. Harry B. Macrory, with additional funds from the family and friends of the late Dr. Harry Macrory
  • Candidates must by an upperclassman with a declared "pre-law" intent; strong moral character
  • Based on financial need and a cumulative GPA of 2.5

  • Provides needs-based scholarships for students majoring in general business or business administration
  • $400 minimum

  • Restricted to upper-division students in the SNU School of Business

Moss, William L. Memorial International Relations Scholarship

  • Established and funded by friends and family
  • Provides tuition aid for upper division students preparing for a career in International Relations, and emulates SNU’s motto “Character-Culture-Christ”

Overholt Family Scholarship

  • Established by Dr. Elbert Overholt
  • Any undergraduate level of classification eligible
  • Based on financial need, and juried by application
  • Request application guidelines from SNU School of Business
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA required for repeat awarding

Parker, Beverly McAllister Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Mr. Robert Parker
  • Awards one scholarship to a junior business major, who is reflects SNU's motto of "Character-Culture-Christ"
  • $5,000 award

Posey, Robert N. Memorial Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Mr. James Posey, son
  • Provides general scholarships to upper division students with a business major
  • $500 minimum

Rice, C. Wayne Hospital Administration Scholarship

  • Restricted to Junior and Senior level business-related majors

Shellenberger, Dr. Elmer Marketing Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Dr. Elmer B. Shellenberger and memorials in memory of Marjorie Shellenberger
  • Provides funds for a junior or senior marketing major who has a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or a 3.0 GPA in business classes, and has completed MKT 3113 Principles of Marketing

  • Established by the Sherrill Bequest
  • Provides general aid for students within the School of Business

Thurman, Randy L. Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Mr. Randy L. Thurman
  • Provides funds for a Junior or Senior female who is a business major - Finance or Investment Services preferred - with a cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • $500 increments

MANAGEMENT

Dennard, Dr. Lou & Louis Management Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Dr. Lou & Mr. Louis Dennard
  • Provides funds for a senior management major (preference) or junior management major (second preference) with a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and working part-time to earn 25% of their college expenses
  • Amount varies
  • If management candidates are not available, awards may be made to business administration majors who meet the same requirements

  • Established and funded by Mr. & Mrs. Don Harwell
  • Restricted to Management majors with a cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Any classification, no restrictions

Webster, Dale Management Scholarship

  • Established by funded by Dale & Jane Webster
  • Provides funds for junior level Management majors, based on financial need and academic ability
