Vans will leave from McAllen Church of the Nazarene (1400 Nolana Loop, McAllen TX 78504) in McAllen, TX to take us across the border the morning of Dec. 27th where we will board Mexican buses for Saltillo. That evening, once everyone is in Saltillo, we will have an orientation/organization meeting. We will return to McAllen, TX on the morning of January 3.
If you are driving you need to be at McAllen Church of the Nazarene (1400 Nolana Loop, McAllen TX 78504) at 8 am on the 27th. Those staying at the hotel need to know that there will be secure parking at the church. If you arrive the night before (December 26), there is a discount ($69.95 per double room) if you book under Commission to Mexico before November 26 at Comfort Suites. (When you call to reserve a room, say you are with Commission to Mexico).
We will help organize carpools for people coming from the same area or travelling the same route (For instance, a van from Oklahoma City could pick up people in the Dallas area). We can give you names and telephone numbers of other people from your area going to Commission Unto Mexico. We will be leaving vehicles at McAllen Church of the Nazarene (1400 Nolana Loop, McAllen TX 78504).

Participants on Commission Unto Mexico are responsible for their own transportation to McAllen, TX. We might take a van from SNU if there are enough participants interested in riding together. The cost TBA.

Everyone who is flying will need to fly into McAllen, TX. If you plan to fly you need to talk to a travel agent or get online immediately since our trip comes during a holiday season.
Overnight Stay in Eagle Pass if you are flying?
If you are flying into McAllen, please try to make hotel reservations at Comfort Suites. There is a free shuttle from the hotel. Buses to Saltillo from McAllen, TX
Is your luggage identified with your name? After we cross the border, make sure your luggage gets on the bus you're going to ride to Saltillo. Don’t leave it on the ground, assuming that someone else will load it for you.
Do you need a passport? Passports or passport cards are required.
