Music Classes
The School for Children Music program is led by teacher, Pam Doughty. Basic music education involving classes in music clefs, notes, composers, tone, and rhythm are taught beginning in our Pre-Kindergarten through the 6th grade. Students attend music classes twice weekly.
Musical Performances
Two musical performances are given yearly at the School for Children. Once at Christmas and the other in late spring.
School for Children Orchestra Program
An after-school, strings program is offered for 2nd grade through 6th grade. Beginners practice on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 3:15-3:45 pm. The intermediate orchestra practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-3:45 pm. Students interested in this program must purchase or rent their own instrument. Classes are $5.00 per session.
