Greetings in the strong name of Jesus!
For several decades, SNU has provided a tuition credit certificate to pastors who have led their church in reaching their financial goal of support of SNU. For the 2013-2014 church year, a $200.00 Pastor’s Tuition Scholarship Award is presented as a token of our great appreciation for your leadership in Funding the Mission – 2.25% of the net fund base. This is our way of saying “thanks” to you and your church for your partnership with SNU.
This award may still be used by the pastor or member of his/her immediate family - and is valid for up to ten years from year of issue - but it is important to note that if you so choose, you may award the certificate to your designee. This designee may be a young person coming to SNU from your church, a fellow pastor’s child, or any current SNU student that you may know and choose to encourage in this way. In any case - a maximum of $1000 in accumulated certificates may be used in any given academic year per recipient.
If you qualify for this award click here to access the certificate, complete the required information, and email or mail it to my office so the award can be applied. If you would like to reserve this award for future use, please save it to your files or print it for your records.
While these awards can be used for any SNU student, our goal is for every pastor to see Southern Nazarene University as a financially realistic college choice for their children. Today, SNU is offering the most generous achievement and need-based scholarships ever awarded to Nazarenes in school history. This is incredibly good news for pastor’s dependents on our Region - and Nazarene young people in general - and we need your help in making this good news known among our congregations.
We trust that you will allow our Enrollment Management team to work with you, and families in your church, to help each student realize their maximum potential with a first-class college education, prepared to think with clarity, act with integrity, and serve with purpose.
Thank you again for your church’s financial investment in SNU. May God continue to bless you – your family – and your ministry – is my prayer.
Terry N. Toler,
Vice President for University Advancement and Church Relations
