  • SNU Students Participate In NASA Space Grant Programs

    BETHANY, OK (September 25, 2013) - Four Southern Nazarene University science students recently participated in NASA Space Grant summer programs. Participants conducted research that they will present at the Geospatial Summer Fellowship Symposium, to be held at the University of Oklahoma this fall. Applicants from eight Oklahoma NASA Space Grant institutions were selected competitively and awarded a stipend for participation.   Full Story

  • A Groundbreaking Event at Southern Nazarene University

    BETHANY, OK (February 13, 2012) – As part of the multi-year, multi-phase Campaign for the Sciences at Southern Nazarene University, plans are set for the Friday, March 1, 2013 groundbreaking ceremony that will launch construction of the J.D. and Mary West Science Laboratory on the main campus of SNU in Bethany, OK.   • SNU Excels in Academia with Summer Research Opportunities

    BETHANY, OK (September 27, 2012) - Nathan Adams, senior, has not had a typical summer since he came to the campus of Southern Nazarene University as a freshmen in the fall of 2009. Nathan Adams is a student researcher who was given the opportunity to participate in two separate summer research programs during his tenure at SNU.  The first experience was with the NASA sponsored Space Grant in the summer of 2010.   Full Story

  • SNU Announces Launch of Campaign for the Sciences and Mabee Challenge Grant

    BETHANY, Okla. (January 31, 2012) – Southern Nazarene University, has recently announced the public phase of the $8.7 million dollar, multi-year, multi-phase, Campaign for the Sciences. Phase I of the Campaign for the Sciences includes construction of a new Science laboratory that will house teaching and research labs, classrooms and support space.   Full Story
