BETHANY, OK --- Southern Nazarene University welcomes speaker Rita Murray as she presents “Survive and Thrive in a Multi-Generational Church” on Monday, September 21. The Seminar is from 1:00-5:00 p.m. in the Royce Brown Business Building.
Rita will engage and enlighten, discuss and provoke as she leads participants through the impact of effective intergenerational communication in the church place using powerful multimedia and live Internet. Attendees will walk away with practical ideas and tools to put to work immediately.
Fun and educational, this presentation explores who are the generations in churches. Rita creates surprise, energy, depth, and learning around the potentially difficult issues of multi-generations in the church place.

Rita is the author of “Survive and Thrive in a Multi-Generational World,” a personal guide to working with the four generations in the American workplace. Rita is also a national Senior Associate with Otto Kroeger Associates, in Fairfax, Virginia, which is one of only seven qualifying centers for the ®Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the ®MBTI.
Completing a Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology and Technology (2006) at the University of Oklahoma, Rita is committed to improving workplace performance, encouraging personal development, and promoting life-long learning. She integrates her combination of unique experience in the business world and her academic training into her presentations that are fast-paced, multimedia-based, information-packed, and fun!
As the 2005/2006 President of the National Speaker Association (NSA) Oklahoma Chapter, Rita collaborates with other national speakers to provide resources and education designed to advance the skills, integrity, and value of the speaking professional. She and her husband, Ron, live in Norman, Oklahoma. They are both pilots who travel extensively for business and pleasure. They also volunteer internationally with the Bill Glass Champions For Life Prison Ministry.
