BETHANY, Okla. (March 7, 2011) - Southern Nazarene University Ethics Chapter welcomed Hobby Lobby President, Steve Green, to campus Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
Andrew Dawson commented, “I’ve enjoyed my involvement with the Ethics Chapter because of the diversity of influence and experience that has been brought in to share on our campus. Steve Green reminded me of what a corporation can do when focused on a higher calling besides profit. Through Steve Green's example to us, I have a renewed inspiration as I continue to seek out the career that God is calling me to and seek a company that has a holistic worldview.”
The SNU Ethics Club, supervised by the Ziglar Center, is a time for students and faculty to come and listen to leaders in Oklahoma. The speakers range from CEOs to federal agents and the topics deal with the ethical dilemmas that are not so black or white. Membership is offered to those who come to 5 of the 8 meetings. Free food and drinks are provided at each meeting.
