SNU Students Study Abroad

The Southern Nazarene University (SNU) Center for Global Engagement is happy to report 16 current SNU students doing their academic work for the spring semester in out-of-the country and off-campus locations.  The students will complete 12 to 16 hours of credit for their various programs.  Six of our students are in our own semester program at the SNU Quetzal Education Research Center located in San Gerardo de Dota, Costa Rica.  Other SNU students will complete programs of study in Australia, China, Costa Rica (the Latin American Studies Program in San Jose) and in Washington, DC.

“These are great opportunities for our students to learn in cross-cultural environments.  Some of the best education possible comes with the kind of exposure to another “world” that these programs offer,” said Don W. Dunnington, D.Min., and Professor of Theology and Ministry at Southern Nazarene University.

“All SNU students have the opportunity to spend a full semester in places like Africa, China, Egypt, Ecuador, England, Switzerland and beyond.  Expanding these opportunities is the work of SNU’s newly developed Center for Global Engagement,” said Dunnington.
