SNU's Andrea Rojas named NAIA Honorable Mention All-American

     (KANSAS CITY, MO.) --- Southern Nazarene University (SNU) junior women’s golfer, Andrea Rojas, earned Honorable Mention All-America honors as the NAIA announced it on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.  With this, Rojas, from Bogota,Colombia, earns her first All-America honor at Southern Nazarene.

 

Rojas helped lead SNU to the program’s 14th straight NAIA National Tournament appearance last week and the junior finished 30th overall, while helping SNU to a 14th place finish in the team standings. 

Rojas had seven top ten finishes in the 2008-2009 academic year and earned five top five finishes during the season.  Andrea also had a tournament win, collecting first place at the Builder’s Classic in Winfield, Kansas on March 24th.  At the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships, Rojas finished 11th overall.
