Username and Password
Usually, your username will be the first letter of your first name followed by up to seven characters of your last name. In cases where duplicate usernames occur, additional characters from your first name will be used and less characters from your last name. For example, John Doe would be jdoe and Jane Doe would be jadoe. To find your username, go to MySNU and click the Username Lookup link.
Your password is initially set to the last five digits of your ID number. Beginning in the fall of 2003, new students will have a randomly generated ID number. Your Student ID has your ID number printed on it. The first time you log in with this password, you will be prompted to change it. It is very important that you keep this password private. The IT Department recommends using a mix of numbers, letters, and symbols to create a secure password. Do not share your password with anyone. Your password protects personal information such as grades, account balances, and email. If someone gains access to your account, you may be held responsible for actions committed with your account.

Printing
To promote good stewardship and reduce the amount of wasted paper, students are allowed to print a maximum of 500 pages each semester on network printers in the computer labs. During each print job, you will be notified of the number of pages you have left. If you need additional pages added to your account, you may do so at the cost of $.05 per page by going to MySNU, selecting Network Account from the My Stuff menu, and selecting add to balance next to Network printing pages remaining. You may also add pages to your account by going to the Cashier’s window in Bresee Hall. Note: Tulsa Professional and Graduate Studies learners are on the honor system and are trusted to print no more than 500 pages from printing kiosks provided.
Printers are available for installation on student laptops in these areas: Dorm Lobbies, Commons Office, Science 29 Lab, Science 4th Floor, Royce Brown Labs, Royce Brown 2nd Floor, Herrick Mac Lab, and the first and third floors of the LRC. Installation instructions are posted near the printers. Identified printers are available for Tulsa Professional and Graduate Studies learners.
