     BETHANY, OK – Southern Nazarene University sponsors the fifthteenth annual Excel Auction, Friday, November 4, 2005. The Annual event will take place at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Sam Noble Center. The Silent Auction begins at 6:00 p.m. with the Live Auction and Dinner to take place from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This year’s silent auction will include more than 400 items that range from holiday merchandise, sports memorabilia, household fineries, and a host of collectible goods and service. In line for the Live Auction, will be 35 of the finest live auction items, including art, antiques, automobiles, luxury and novelty pieces and fabulous vacation trips.

Over the past 14 years, hundreds of children from Oklahoma have enjoyed the enriching educational, recreational and spiritual experience of Excel camps. EXCEL (Excellence in Christian Education and Leadership) Auction provides the support to these children from all social stations with more than $1,000,000 that has been raised through Excel Auctions.

Southern Nazarene University has been a vital part of Oklahoma, providing quality, value based, higher education in a Christian environment. Today, SNU enjoys the largest enrollment in the school’s history. Over 2,200 students from 30 countries and 40 states pursue degrees in 85 fields of study. Each summer, the University shifts its focus from young adults to children, providing an atmosphere where camp can be experienced in a Christian environment full of learning, recreation, role modeling and inspiration.
