If you need a job while attending SNU this coming school year, PLAN NOW TO ATTEND THIS EVENT. There will be many hiring managers on our campus to briefly interview you for their part-time positions. That includes both on-campus and off-campus managers for Work Study positions as well as hiring managers from the surrounding business community.
FOR STUDENTS: The "Student Employment Job Fair" (formerly known as the "Work Study Job Fair"), will be held on Wednesday, 9/03/08, Webster Commons - HERITAGE ROOM, from 1:30 p.m. - 4:57 p.m..
HIRING MANAGERS AND COMMUNITY EMPLOYERS:
If you plan to interview our SNU students at our Job Fair, please send me an email. call 405.491-6684 or fax your request to my office 405-491-6378 with all your information. We will need the name of the person who will be interviewing our students along with your business/company or campus group name. We will be creating the identification cards/signs that will serve to identify you for our interviewing students.
DEADLINE: FRIDAY, AUGUST 29, 2008 TO ALLOW FOR PLANNING PURPOSES.
Plan to arrive in the the WEBSTER COMMONS - Heritage Room, Main Floor, no later than 12:57 p.m. to go over procedures of the event. There will be snacks, bottled water and sodas.
To the Campus Community:
The reason we have recently changed the name of the event from Work Study Job Fair to Student Employment Job Fair is so we can rightfully allow ALL STUDENTS who need employment an opportunity to interview. For our Fall 2008 event, we hope to have commitments from 30-35 area community employers to interview our students.
WE WILL LIST THE NAMES OF THE COMPANIES IN ALPHA ORDER AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE EVENT DATE OF 9/03/08.
WE HOPE TO HAVE ANOTHER GOOD GROUP OF EMPLOYERS ATTEND OUR 2008-09 EVENT.
For more information, please contact the SNU Career Services & Student Employment Office at 405.491.6684, fax request to 405.491.6378 or email "email@example.com" or firstname.lastname@example.org.
