AARP 55Alive Driving Course set for Jan. 29

An AARP 55Alive Driving Course will be offered on the campus of Southern Nazarene University (SNU) Saturday, January 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The session will take place in Room 125 of the Royce Brown Business Building, NW 39th Expressway and Peniel, on the SNU campus.

Sponsored by the SNU Academy of Senior Professionals, the driving course will be taught by certified AARP instructor Dr. Gerald Knutson. Enrollment is limited to a maximum of thirty-five (35) individuals per class.

The 55Alive program is national in scope and has served seniors and others for many years. Most states mandate that a graduate of the driving program receive a discount off his or her auto insurance premium.

The $10 cost for the course includes a notebook and a certificate of completion, and can be paid at the door. For additional information or to place a reservation, call Sue Eccles at 405.491.6312.
