Ann Rhoades to speak at PLN seminar
People-Centric Cultures Pay Big Dividends: Lessons from Great Companies
Ann Rhoades will speak at Southern Nazarene University for the third Peer Learning Network session this year on Thursday, February 5, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The session will take place in the Royce Brown Business Building, NW 39th Expressway and Peniel, on the campus of Southern Nazarene University. A continental breakfast will be served at 7:45 a.m.
Ann Rhoades brings her employee-focused approach to business success to the Peer Learning Network audience in a presentation entitled People-Centric Cultures Pay Big Dividends: Lessons from Great Companies.
Ann Rhoades is the president of People Ink, an architect of People-Centric corporate cultures, and former Executive Vice President and founding partner for JetBlue Airways. Ann’s fierce tenacity to the principle of putting people first and “doing what is right” has made her a highly sought-after executive. An advocate for the human side of business, Rhoades provides keynotes and workshops that help organizations create workplace environments where people love to come to work. Her dynamic style and commitment to quality have led her to be a driving force in many high profile companies such as Southwest Airlines, Doubletree Hotels, and First Interstate Bank.
Over the last several years, Ann has help memberships with more than a dozen companies and community-based organizations. Rhoades currently serves on the Board of Directors of JetBlue, Western Warehouse, and is the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Robert O. Anderson School of Business in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rhoades received a degree in business from the College of Santa Fe, and earned her MBA at the University of New Mexico.
Rhoades’ workshop is a part of The Peer Learning Network, a program facilitated by Southern Nazarene University. Peer Learning Network partners, comprised of chief executives of 10 local corporations and their management teams, pool their resources to bring world-class presenters to the leaders of Oklahoma’s premiere companies four times each year.
