Biology Department adds to faculty
The Department of Biology at Southern Nazarene University welcomes Dr. Glenn Fell to the SNU faculty for the 2003-2004 academic year.
Dr. Glenn Fell joins the Biology Department as Professor where he will teach courses in Environmental Science such as Ecology and Soil Science. Prior to coming to SNU, Fell served as Professor of Agriculture and International Development at Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, preceded by an annual summer assignment as director of the Au Sable Environmental Institute in Kenya, agricultural missionary work in South Africa, and a three year post with the U.S. Peace Corps as a forage extension agronomist in Barbados, West Indies. Fell is a member of a number of professional organizations including Jubilee Farms Inc. (President), Grassland Heritage Foundation, MEDIC International, and the Food and Agricultural Development Committee of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (Chairman). Fell also served as President of the Kansas Association of College Teachers of Agriculture. Fell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Eastern Nazarene College, a Master of Science degree in Agronomy from Oklahoma State University, and a Ph.D. in Agronomy from Pennsylvania State University.
