Brass Choir, Percussion Ensemble in Concert

The SNU School of Music presents a free concert featuring the Brass Choir and Percussion Ensemble Tuesday, November 9, 7:30 p.m., in Cantrell Music Hall, located just north of NW 39th Expressway and College on the campus of Southern Nazarene University.

The program will feature a variety of compositions for brass and percussion, ranging from Mozart’s “Ave Verum” to American spirituals. The Brass are directed by School of Music Chair Dr. Phil Moore, with the Percussion under the direction of Professor K. Dean Walker.

“This concert exemplifies the variety of musical opportunities available to students at SNU. The pallet of sonic color in brass and percussion is always an exciting and intriguing experience for the audience,” said Moore.
