Career Pursuit 2008 Hosted by SNU
Southern Nazarene University (SNU) is hosting the CAREER PURSUIT career fair on Thursday, February 21 on the campus of Southern Nazarene University in the BROADHURST GYM.
Students may attend anytime between 11:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
Six universities from the greater OKC Metro area comprise the CAREER PURSUIT 2008 Consortium, including SNU, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma Baptist University, Oklahoma Christian University, St. Gregory’s University & University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma. This past year's Career Fair event broke all previous attendance records with 93 employers and more than 300 students coming through to visit about jobs and internship opportunities with these employers.
“This event is for upcoming and recent grads, as well as our sophomores and juniors who want a jump start in the job market,” said Miriam Key, Director of Career Services & Student Employment at Southern Nazarene University. “Start making your plans now to attend our CAREER PURSUIT 2008 and visit with only those employers with whom you are most interested or stay and visit with all of them to get an idea where there are real employment and/or internship opportunities.”
Students plan to dress in business attire clothing for possible brief interviews. Bring a supply of updated resumes to hand out to employers. The Spring 2008 list of participating employers will be listed in alphabetical order as they are received. The list will be updated regularly on the SNU website at snu.edu/careerservices
until the day of the event on February 21, 2008.
