Chamber Orchestra, String Quartet combine for spring performance
The SNU School of Music presents the Chamber Orchestra and String Quartet in spring concert, 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 5 in Cantrell Hall, located just north of 39th and College on the campus of Southern Nazarene University.
The Chamber Orchestra will perform works by Vivaldi, Schumann, Hindemith and Mendelssohn, featuring soloists Sarah Sturgis and Jenny Sabine.
String Quartet members Sarah Sturgis, Nicole Melki, Katherine Cannata, and Scott Tucker will conclude the evening’s program with “Two Sketches Based on Indian Themes” by Charles Griffes.
