Covenant Celebration, an evening of worship featuring SNU's School of Music

RICHARDSON, TEXAS – Choirs and bands from the Southern Nazarene University (SNU) School of Music will gather in “Covenant Celebration” with the Dallas District Church of the Nazarene at Richardson Church of the Nazarene, 2101 E. Renner Road, in Richardson, TX for an evening of worship and celebration on Sunday, March 11 at 6:00 pm.
Covenant Celebration is a time of reaffirmation of the bonds between the church and Southern Nazarene University. The concert features performances by each group within the School of Music, with more than 140 student musicians participating.
The Church of the Nazarene, in the South Central region draws students from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma and sponsors Southern Nazarene University. Once each semester, the SNU School of Music travels to a different district on the region to present a Covenant Celebration.
“Covenant Celebration is a powerful demonstration of not only the talents and gifts of the students and faculty of the School of Music, but of the partnership we enjoy with the constituents of our Region – who believe in and support Christian higher education,” stated Dr. Terry Toler, SNU Vice President for Church Relations.
The public is invited to attend and there is no admission charge; however, an offering will be received.
