Soccer Stars off to Amazon
According to SNU sports information, while many of the 62 Premier Development League soccer teams across the country talk about long road trips, those road trips pale in comparison to the 10,450 mile round-trip the Cascade Surge are about to undertake with SNU men’s soccer starters goalie David Eguren and midfielder Marco Juarez. Eguren is the goalkeeper for the Cascade Surge while Juarez is starting midfielder. Both are members of the United Soccer Leagues’ Premier Development League based in Salem Oregton. The Cascade Surge is a Christian based PDL team hosted by Vanguard Minisgtries. Both Eguren and Juarez are expected to start all three matches on their three-match tour in Peru. You can read more about Juarez and Eguren at www.cascadesurge.com.
