Ladd Lecture Series – Thursday, Feb. 6
This year’s third annual Ladd Lecture Series features a seminar by guest speaker Dr. Worthington entitled “Understanding Forgiveness and Still Forgiving”

In this seminar, Worthington will discuss unforgiveness, forgiveness and reconciliation and examine numerous ways to reduce unforgiveness. Through use of three empirical studies, Worthington will argue that justice and forgiving can work together instead of always being opposed to each other. He will also describe a five-step model that can help people forgive – The Pyramid Model to REACH forgiveness.

The workshop is free and open to the public. CE credits are available for LPC, LMFT, Psychologists and LCSW at no charge. For more information, contact Teresa Hawkinson at 491.6360.

Worthington will present a number of valuable tools and techniques that can be applied in therapy, enrichment, psychoeducation for its own sake, or as a psychoeducational adjunct to counseling. The concepts can also be used in church settings, aimed at helping people become more forgiving people.
