Extravaganza 2007 will take place from April 12-15 on the campus of Southern Nazarene University. Your Regional NYI Council is working through plans for another fun packed weekend that will challenge all of us to move to new heights in our Christian walk. Just like last year registration for the event will take place online. All adults, teens, and children must register online. The registration costs and deadlines are listed below.
Registrants: There is no more going through your youth pastor or District President to register! Each attendee must register individually online. Please note: Registrants under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to assist with the online registration process.
On or Before April 7 - Registration $35 (Only teens pay for registration, but we need EVERYONE to register!) Meal Ticket - $29 (includes 6 meals: Friday & Saturday only. No Sunday breakfast). After April 7 - Registration $35 + $10 late fee. Meal Ticket $29 + $10 late fee. After April 11 - (at-the-door)Registration $35 + $15 late fee. Meal Ticket $29 + $15 late fee. It will pay to register early! These late fees are designed to encourage everyone to register early in order for our event directors to be able to plan the event accordingly. Participants will be entered into a drawing for one of 5 iPOD Shuffles and 10 Extravaganza t-shirts. Only teen participants will be eligible for prizes. Teens can participate in a variety of sports and talent categories at the event including: Music [keyboard, instrumental solo, instrumental ensemble (2-12), instrumental group (13+), vocal solo, vocal ensemble (2-12), vocal group (13+)] Academic Testing [biology, chemistry, math, physics, computer science, essay, short story, poetry] Art [drawing, watercolor, pottery, oil painting, portfolio, photographic, other] Team Sports [boys JH basketball, boys SH basketball, girls JH basketball, girls SH basketball, girls JH volleyball, girls SH volleyball, mixed flag football, mixed soccer] Individual Sports [boys cross country, girls cross country, boys tennis, girls tennis, boys golf, girls golf, ping pong] Bible Quizzing Non-Traditional Talent [interpretive worship, non-traditional music, creative technologies]
Speech & Drama [original speech, oral interpretation, drama solo, drama ensemble]

Purpose of SNU Extravaganza: To reach students for Christ through mind, body, and spirit, and expose them to a positive Christian atmosphere on the campus of Southern Nazarene University.
Sponsorship: SNU Extravaganza is sponsored by the South Central Region Nazarene Youth International. All decisions regarding programming, accommodations, rules, and regulations are made by the South Central Region NYI.
