Gary Heil will be the speaker for this year’s first Peer Learning Network seminar at Southern Nazarene University, Thursday, October 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Royce Brown Business Building, located off NW 39th Expressway and Peniel. A continental breakfast will be served at 7:45 a.m.
Gary Heil begins the 2004-05 PLN series with his fresh approach to leadership effectiveness. Author of The Leader’s New Clothes and The Winning Coach, Heil challenges leaders to consider the human side of organization and to find effective ways to lead inspired teams.
Heil is the co-founder of the web-cast Leadership Lessons from the Fast Lane. Nationally recognized as an author, educator, commentator, lawyer, consultant and coach, Heil has served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and as an advisor and director for a number of technology start-ups. Heil’s client list includes high profile companies such as Disney, American Honda, Fidelity Investments, Intel, Williams-Sonoma, Target, Hard Rock Café, General Electric, Harley Davidson, and Lands End.
Heil’s workshop is a part of The Peer Learning Network, a program facilitated by Southern Nazarene University. Peer Learning Network partners, comprised of chief executives of 10 local corporations and their management teams, pool their resources to bring world-class presenters to the leaders of Oklahoma’s premiere companies, four times a year.
