Jennifer Butler, Kari Price and Treas Nelson Named First Team All-Americans

(BETHANY,OK)---Southern Nazarene University freshman Jennifer Butler, junior Kari Price and junior Treas Nelson were named NAIA First Team All-Americans the NAIA announced on Friday. Price was also named an NAIA Academic All-American.

Jennifer Butler, a freshman from Enid, Oklahoma, earns her first NAIA First Team All-American honor this season. Butler earned All-Tournament honors at the NAIA National Tournament with an 8th place finish. Jennifer shot a final score of 312 at Nationals.

Treas Nelson, a junior from Lawton, Oklahoma, earns her first NAIA First Team All-American honor this season. Nelson did not get to compete in the NAIA National Championships due to injury but had an outstanding junior season for the Crimson Storm.

Kari Price, a junior from Lamesa, Texas, also earns her first NAIA First Team All-American honor this season. Price took home a 24th place finish at Nationals after shooting a final score of 320. Price also garners NAIA Academic All-American honors for the first time this season. Kari is a Biochemistry major at Southern Nazarene.

The Crimson Storm finished the 2004 season with a 8th place finish at the NAIA National Tournament under 11th year Head Coach Steve Hulsey. Hulsey led SNU to their seventh consecutive Top Ten finish this season. SNU won the National Title under Hulsey in 1999 and 2002 and finished as the National Runner Up in 1998.
