New Student Institute 2005

BETHANY, OK - Southern Nazarene University will welcome the Fall 2005-2006 incoming freshmen and transfer students for a five day orientation, “New Student Institute” (NSI), August 20 – 24. Approximately 400 new students, 76 student mentors, and 30 faculty mentors will participate in this event.

Scheduled activities during the five day intensive orientation week will include:
Seminars, Campus Orientation and Tour, Service Projects, Academic Advising, Chapel Service, and a special “Southern Supper”.

One of the goals of NSI is to help make new students feel welcome as they begin to find friends within the campus community. It also provides an opportunity through service projects, for each new student an opportunity to get involved
