OK Chorale Christmas Concert

The OK CHORALE, the Oklahoma City Chapter of The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, Inc., will present its annual Christmas Show on Friday, December 14, 2001 at 7:30 pm in the Herrick Auditorium, Southern Nazarene University, 6729 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany, Oklahoma.

This year's Christmas Show, ADVENTURES IN TOWYLAND: A SEQUEL, continues the Toy Shop theme of the OK Chorale. The members of the chorus are dressed in colorful costumes of various toys, clowns, soldiers, jacks-in-the-box, bears, etc., and even Barney! This year's show continues the adventures of the toys who come to life in the Toy Shop after midnight just before Christmas. There are new Christmas musical numbers and special Christmas songs by SHOWDOWN, one of the OK Chorale's quartets.

The Chorale membership spans the greater Oklahoma City area including Midwest City, Norman, OKC, Bethany, Yukon and Cashion. The Chorale is under the direction of Jeff Sykes, a graduate of SNU, and a member of the OK Chorale for 19 years.

All seating for the OK Choral Christmas Show is General Admission. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger.
