Rothwell Theological Lectures at SNU

BETHANY, OK – Southern Nazarene University (SNU) will host the upcoming Rothwell Theological Lectures Tuesday, February 21 through Thursday, February 23, 2006. Dr. Steve Harper is this years Lecture speaker.
Harper presently serves as Vice President of the Florida campus of Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando. In addition to serving as Vice President, he is also a Professor of Spiritual Formation. Harper has a Ph.D from Duke University, a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a B.A. from McMurry College.
Prior to his assignment in Orlando, he served as a Dean of the Chapel, The Upper Room in Nashville, Tennessee. He has served as a pastor in several churches in Texas and Kentucky.
Harper has authored 14 books and numerous articles and reviews. He is a frequent speaker in churches, conferences and retreats. Steve is married to Jeannie, and they are the parents of two adult children: John and Katrina.
Dr. Harper is one of the consultants helping to shape the Healthy Church Academy, a ministry of teaching and equipping the laity and clergy of the Florida Conference. He is an Elder in The United Methodist Church (Florida Annual Conference).
