SNU Christmas Break
The Offices of Southern Nazarene University will close for Christmas break on Monday, December 24, 2007 through New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2008.
Rick Powell, Director of Human Resources states that a few years ago, the SNU Administrative Officers made the decision to close our campus from December 25 through January 1. “This is a time our faculty and staff can enjoy being together with family. A time that we can slow down and find ways to serve others.”
“Christmas is a wonderful time of year. Imagine, the Creator of our universe that sent His Son to earth to be an example of how we should live. His gift demonstrates how it is more blessed to give than to receive. It is an example of how to serve,” said Powell.
This year, The Cabinet has agreed to close all offices on Christmas Eve. We hope you are able to enjoy this extra time with family and friends.
The SNU Administrative Officers (President’s Cabinet) include the following: Dr. Loren P. Gresham, President, - Dr. Patrick Allen, Provost, - Dr. David Alexander, Vice President for University Advancement, - Mike Brooks, Vice President for Student Development, - Donna Nance, Vice-President for Business & Financial Affairs, - Dr. Brad Strawn, Vice-President for Spiritual Development, and Dr. Terry Toler, Vice-President for Church Relations.
“May each of us strive to use our talents in finding ways to serve during the time off from work. Have a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year,” said Powell.
