The School of Theology and Ministry hosted a reception celebrating the completion of the 2005-2006 academic year on Friday, May 5, 2006. Special recognitions were give to
outstanding students for this year.

Dr. Jirair Tashjian recognized the outstanding New Testament Greek student. Ms. Kyndall Rothaus received the Zondervan Publishing House Annual Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Study of Biblical Greek.

Dr. Stephen Green, who occupies the W.N. King Chair of Theology, recognized the top Systematic Theology student for the past year. Mr. Logan Kruck received the W.N. King Award for Excellence in Systematic Theology.

Dr. Howard Culbertson, who occupies the Garner Chair of Missions, recognized the two students who were tied for top honors in Introduction to Christian Missions. Ms. Sarah Bean and Ms. Jean Hill each received the World Christian Outlook Award.

Dr. Hal Cauthron, Chair of the School of Theology and Ministry, recognized thirty-one students who were the recipients of 36 named scholarships for the 2006-2007 academic year, along with forty-one interns who have been awarded Ministerial Intern Scholarships for next year. With incoming Freshman Intern Scholarships, we are privileged to award scholarships totaling $510,650 for the 2006-2007 academic year.
