SNU Students Focus on Ministry at Mission 2007 Conference in Kansas City, MO
Southern Nazarene University (SNU) sent more than 50 of its students to focus on ministry at the Missions 2007 (M-7) Conference in Kansas City, MO - February 19-21, 2007. Conference location is at Bartle Hall, located at the Kansas City Convention Center, 301 W. 13th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105.
University students, church leaders, pastors and laity are scheduled to gather in Kansas City for a time of worship, learning and praying for each other. The Conference focus is on discipleship and preparing global Christians for service in the 21st century. The Church of the Nazarene sponsors the event.
speakers include the following: Dan Boone, President, Trevecca Nazarene University; Oliver Phillips, Director, Mission Strategy; Reggie McNeal, Leadership Network; Susie Shellenberger, Editor of Brio Magazine and Nina Gunter, General Superintendent, Church of the Nazarene.
The music at the conference will include a blend of music from traditional and contemporary styles of urban gospel, to modern worship music. Lillenas Music will provide the support. Music of Fort Lauderdale Manor and Brooklyn Beulah Nazarene, and the combined choirs and orchestras of Nazarene churches in Kansas and Missouri are also part of this event.
Jason Hubbert, Associate in Spiritual Development at Southern Nazarene University was responsible for the major part of the organization of our students attending the conference. More than 200 workshops are offered to those in attendance at the conference.
