SNU hosts 25th annual Naz Nite at Six Flags Over Texas
Southern Nazarene University will celebrate the 25th annual Naz Nite (abbreviated for Nazarene Night) at Six Flags Over Texas on Friday, August 29, 2003, 6:00 p.m. until midnight, featuring contemporary Christian group Big Daddy Weave in concert at 7:00 p.m.
NAZ NITE was established for the purpose of bringing together Nazarenes from the South Central Nazarene region for fun and fellowship, and to feature the importance and value of Christian higher education at Southern Nazarene University. The event also raises scholarship money for prospective freshmen and provides assistance for the annual Commission Unto Mexico mission trip sponsored by SNU.
Tickets are $24.99 each plus tax, which includes a free return ticket valid August 30, 31st, and any day in September. Tickets can be purchased by calling Six Flags Over Texas at 1.817.530.6050.
NAZ NITE is a part of this year’s Ultimate Road Trip Weekend sponsored by SNU’s Student Government Association (SGA). The Ultimate Road Trip Weekend ticket package is available to current SNU students for $40, which includes tickets for Naz Nite at Six Flags on Friday, August 29 and the Wheat Bowl tailgate cookout and football game on Saturday, August 30 in Ellinwood, Kansas. Free t-shirts will be given to the first 200 students to purchase this package.
