SNU readies campus for College Days event
High school students from across the country will get a chance to experience for themselves what college life is like during College Days at Southern Nazarene University, Thursday through Saturday, February 6-8.
College Days is a planned event that takes place twice a year for high school juniors and seniors who want to come to campus and find out what SNU is all about. Spring College Days usually takes place the first weekend in February, providing prospective students with an opportunity to meet professors and coaches, take a campus tour, stay in the dorms, interact with students, visit classes, eat in the dining hall, meet with academic advisors, and have some fun.
This year’s Spring College Days will include a welcome party on Thursday night with games and introduction; class visits, coaches forum, all-school chapel service, financial aid session, senior’s meeting, campus tour, lunch with professors, and a City tour on Friday; concluding with a brunch, student life seminar, and student panel on Saturday.
“We are expecting one of our largest groups to date. We are excited about the opportunity to expose high school juniors and seniors to life at SNU. Coming to College Days at SNU allows students to see what makes this place so unique,” said Amy Secor, Special Events Coordinator.
