Bethany, OK - U.S. Deputy Commissioner of Social Security, Jim B. Lockhart III, will conduct a forum on the campus of Southern Nazarene University (SNU) in the Royce Brown Auditorium on Thursday, January 19, 2006, at 3:00 p.m., to address the financial base and future of the Social Security Program. Time will be allotted at the conclusion for Q & A.
“We are excited for this opportunity to meet with Mr. Lockhart, and hope that it ignites productive, healthy discussion among our students and in the surrounding community about issues facing Social Security,” states Dr. Don W. Dunnington, SNU Vice President for Academic Affairs, who, in conjunction with local Social Security Office Public Affairs Specialist and SNU alum, Larry Jones, has coordinated this special event for the Oklahoma City community. Although this forum may interest business and political science students in institutions of higher learning in particular, SNU encourages persons in the Oklahoma City community interested in Social Security issues to attend.

for Academic Affairs and Academic Dean at Southern Nazarene University by calling 405.491.6304.
