SNU'S Festival of Song in West Texas

The Southern Nazarene University School of Music presents their biannual Festival of Song, 7:00 pm, Saturday, February 23, at Lubbock First Church of the Nazarene, 6110 Chicago Ave.

The performance will include several selections from their sacred repertoire, then a combined ensemble grand finale of “Come Thou Almighty King.”

“Festival of Song is always fun because all of the groups come together to perform and make music to God. When you’re behind the scenes a lot, you don’t always get to here what’s going on in the other groups within the department” said senior Ryan Gage, vocal performance and music education major.

Each semester the SNU School of Music takes Festival of Song to a different district within the South Central Church of the Nazarene region. Festival of Song is one of the many concerts that showcases the talents of students involved in the SNU School of Music program.

Admission to Festival of Song is free. For more information, contact the SNU School of Music office at 405.491.6345.
