Senior Adult Conference 2002: Using the Gift of Longevity
The 2002 Senior Adult Conference is scheduled for Thursday, April 18, Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, 6789 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany. Registration will be held 7:30 – 8:30 am. The grand session will begin at 8:45 with keynote speaker, Dr. Tedd Mitchell, addressing “Maintaining Mobility.” He will also speak on “Aging with Attitude” at the 12:15 luncheon.
Dr. Mitchell currently serves as Medical Director of the Wellness Program at the renowned Cooper Aerobic Center in Dallas. He is actively involved in research in preventive medicine, and has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Mitchell is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Medical Association.
Session choices include: “Spiritual Adventure” with Dr. Dudley Powers, “Graying with Grace and Greatness” with Howard Hendricks, J.D., “Tai Chi for Life” with Ricky Leturia, “Putting Your Financial House in Order” with John Gillespie, C.E.P., C.T.S., “Long Term Care” with Kaye Love, and much more.
