Symphonic Band Spring Concert

The Southern Nazarene University School of Music presents the Symphonic Band in spring concert, Thursday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m., in Herrick Auditorium, NW 39th Expressway and Asbury. Admission is free.

Under the direction of Dr. Phil Moore, the Symphonic Band will perform a program of various band classics, including "Fugue on Yankee Doodle" by John Philip Sousa, "Symphonic Dance No. 2" by Clifton Williams, "Morning Alleluias" by Ron Nelson, and "Two Grainger Melodies" by Percy Grainger.

Dr. Moore will be joined by student conductor Doug Styers in presenting an evening of the best in band literature.
