BETHANY, OK – The SNU School of Music presents the Symphonic Band in spring concert, Tuesday, March 7, 7:30 p.m. in Herrick Auditorium, NW 39th Expressway and Asbury.

Under the direction of Dr. Phil Moore, chair of the School of Music, the 55-piece ensemble will perform with the theme of the concert being “The Power of One”. The concert features soloists from the band, including Lisa Hollowell – clarinet soloist, Robert Cooper – oboe soloist, Lauren DeLong – marimba soloist, and Aaron Campbell – tuba soloist.

The Symphonic Band is an auditioned group, which performs throughout the school year locally and overseas. SNU’s School of Music is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.

The concert is open to the public and there is no admission charge.
