BETHANY, OK – The Southern Nazarene University (SNU) School of Music presents the Symphonic Band in their fall concert Thursday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Oklahoma City First Church of the Nazarene, located at 4400 NW Expressway.

“The Symphonic Band of Southern Nazarene University truly enjoys bringing to Central Oklahoma great music played with gusto. We are excited about the variety in this program and offer it to our community with eager anticipation,” said Dr. Phil Moore, Professor and Chair for the SNU School of Music.

For this event, the group will perform a diverse mix of selections including some of the following music:

Russian Christmas Music………Alfred Reed
Bandancing……………………..Jack Stamp
Mangulina………………………Paul Basler
Golden Friendships March……..Henry Fillmore

Under the direction of Dr. Phil Moore, the Symphonic Band is a 55 – member auditioned group, which performs throughout the school year locally and overseas.
