Women's Golf 7th After Day One of Nationals

(DAYTONA BEACH, FL)---The Crimson Storm women’s golf team is currently 7th after the first day of competition at the NAIA National Tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida. The four day, 72-hole tournament is being held at the LPGA International Golf Course. SNU finished the first round with a team score of 328.

British Columbia currently leads the field with a first day total of 313. Southern Nazarene sits 15 strokes back with three days to play.

SNU’s Jennifer Butler had an outstanding start to the tournament, carding a 76 on day one. Butler is currently in a four way tie for fourth place. Below are SNU’s Individual scores from Tuesday and the current team standings. Play continues today as the second round will get underway at 8:00 a.m.
