Women's Golf Headed to Nationals

(BETHANY,OK)---The Crimson Storm women's golf team is headed to the NAIA National Tournament after receiving an at-large bid to Nationals this week. SNU finished the regular season ranked 2nd in the nation in the final NAIA National Poll.

The Crimson Storm will begin their pursuit for the program's third NAIA National Championship on May 25th in Daytona Beach, Florida at the Champions Course of the LPGA International Golf Course. The event is scheduled for four days, 72 holes.

SNU won the NAIA National Championship in 1999 and 2002 and have been among the nation's elite golf programs for the past decade under Head Coach Steve Hulsey. This season, SNU has been impressive, being ranked in the top two in the nation throughout the season.

Southern Nazarene finished second at the Region VI Championships behind #1 ranked Oklahoma City and will likely be battling OCU for the National Title next week.
