Women's Golf Wins Again

(SHAWNEE, OKLA.)---The fourth-ranked Crimson Storm women’s golf team cruised to their third straight tournament victory on Tuesday afternoon, winning the Oklahoma Baptist Bison Invitational in Shawnee. SNU scored a team total of 664, winning the tourney by 27 strokes over second place Oklahoma Baptist.

In four spring tournaments, SNU has three first place wins and one second place finish. The Crimson Storm’s three tournament victories have been won by a combined average of 41 strokes.

On Tuesday, Jennifer Butler claimed her second spring tournament victory, posting a two-day total of 155. Butler won the tournament by eight strokes after posting scores of 75 and 80.

SNU’s Tyler Thompson and Lillie West each claimed top five finishes. Thompson was 4th with a score of 168 and West finished fifth with a total of 170.

Other SNU finishes were Lacy Torbert and Natalia Camaeho finishing 6th with scores of 172. Robin Hantla claimed 15th with a score of 179.
