Women's Outdoor Track Finishes Up Season at Nationals

(LOUISVILLE, KY)---The Crimson Storm women’s outdoor track and field squad completed an outstanding 2004 season with the conclusion of the NAIA National Championships on Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky. The Crimson Storm sent four individuals to compete at Nationals, but did not register any team points.

Southern Nazarene sent Sheri Grimes in the 1500 Meter Run and the junior finished 19th with a time of 4:56.84. Sophomore Amy McMullin competed in the 800 Meter Run and took home a 20th place finish with a time of 2:21.02.

SNU’s Penny Rowland came in 25th in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase with a time of 12:22.52 and sophomore Beka Wallis took home 9th place in the pole vault competition with a height of 10-10.75.
