Zig Ziglar to speak at SNU’s Peer Learning Network Seminar

BETHANY, OK – Zig Ziglar will be the speaker for this year’s first Peer Learning Network seminar at Southern Nazarene University, Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Royce Brown Business Building, located off N.W. 39th Expressway and Peniel. A continental breakfast will be served at 8:45 a.m.

Zig Ziglar is one of the most well known and best-loved speakers and authors in America. He has an appeal that transcends barriers of age, culture and occupation. Since 1970, he has traveled over five million miles delivering powerful life improvement messages, cultivating the energy of change.

Ziglar’s corporation is built upon the same philosophy he expounds to his audiences – hard work, common sense, fairness, commitment and integrity – these are the keys to success. Zig’s company has developed a variety of seminars, customized educational programs, workshops and a bureau of speakers geared toward personal and professional betterment. Author of 25 books, including See You at the Top, Raising Positive Kids in a Negative World, and his latest release, Better Than Good.

Zig Ziglar holds an honorary degree from Southern Nazarene University and will be returning to SNU to speak on the topic, “Winning with a Priority-Driven Life.” In addition to his presentation, attendees will complete an assessment tool for professional growth.

Ziglar’s workshop is part of The Peer Learning Network, a program facilitated by Southern Nazarene University. Peer Learning Network partners, comprised of chief executives of 10 local corporations and their management teams, pool their resources to bring world-class presenters to the leaders of Oklahoma’s premiere companies, four times a year.
