SNU President, Dr. J. Keith NewmanDr. J. Keith Newman was elected as the fifteenth president in the 118 year history of Southern Nazarene University.  His tenure as president began August 1, 2017 .  With 17 years of pastoral ministry in the Church of the Nazarene and 15 years of service as a senior administrator in Christian higher education, Dr. Newman counts it a great privilege to join a Christ-centered community preparing God-called, purpose-driven, passionate servant leaders who make the world better.

Dr. Melany Kyzer - Provost and Chief Academic Officer at SNUDr. Melany Kyzer - Under the leadership of Provost and Chief Academic Officer, the Office of Academic Affairs coordinates and supports the work of all the academic programs and services of Southern Nazarene University administered from five academic colleges.

Bobby Martin - Director of Athletics at SNUMr. Bobby Martin - Director of Athletics - Bobby Martin has served as the Director of Athletics at Southern Nazarene University for 38 years. He oversees 17 varsity intercollegiate programs as members of NCAA Division II and the Great American Conference. Martin’s office resides in the 4,000-seat Sawyer Center on the east side of campus.

Dr. Scott Strawn, Chief Financial Officer at SNUDr. Scott Strawn - The Office of Business & Finance exists to help the university provide strong stewardship of all of its resources. The Vice President for Business & Finance serves as the chief financial officer for the University. This office also exists to provide overall supervision and coordination for various support areas including Facilities and Maintenance, Campus Security, Human Resources, and Information Technology.

Dr. Terry Toler, Vice President of Church Relations at SNUDr. Terry Toler is Vice President of Church Relations for Southern Nazarene University. He provides oversight to the areas of Church Relations, The Resource Center for Pastoral Leadership and The Zig Ziglar Center for Ethical Leadership. He serves as a member of the SNU Foundation.

Chris Peterson is an administrator with over 18 years of diverse Christian higher and secondary education experience. He began his ministry of service at SNU in 2009 where he previously served as the Director of the Career Center and the Director of Human Resources before beginning his current role in 2017. Chris oversees the Enrollment Management department which encompasses both the admissions and financial aid teams.

Dr. Mike Redwine - Vice President for Student Development and Enrollment ManagementDr. Michael Redwine serves SNU as Executive Vice President.  Now in his 10th year at SNU, Dr. Redwine leads a talented team with a breadth of responsibilities that include enrollment services, financial aid, athletics, spiritual life, housing & residential living, student activities, health services, student success, student employment, and the RENEW Counseling Center.

Dr. Dennis Williams - Vice Provost for Planning and Institutional EffectivenessDr. Dennis Williams - Vice Provost for Planning and Institutional Effectiveness and Dean of Teaching and Learning, began his service to SNU in 1994 as a professor of history, and now supports the work of the university's staff and faculty to continuously improve the work of forging Christ-like disciples through higher education. His major areas of responsibility include strategic and integrated planning, faculty development, institutional research, and accreditation management.

SNU's Professional and Graduate Studies programs offer graduate and undergraduate degree programs.Southern Nazarene University's Professional and Graduate Studies programs offer graduate and undergraduate degree programs in a nontraditional academic format. The programs empower working adults to further their education in a supportive environment of mission-driven faculty and staff.  As Vice Provost for Professional and Graduate Studies and in her 25th year at SNU, Kristin Jasper leads an exceptional team who selflessly serve students in their pursuit of a Christ-centered higher learning experience.

Dr. Blair Spindle - University Pastor, Director of Spiritual DevelopmentDr. Blair Spindle - Campus Pastor and Dean of the Chapel 
Dr. Blair Spindle is a pastor who has given over 20 years to local church youth ministry.  He began his ministry at SNU in 2012. Dr. Spindle is passionate about urging students towards life long commitments to Christ and His church.

The office of University Relations exists to inspire, engage, and serve the alumni and partners of Southern Nazarene University. As Vice President of University Relations Brent LaVigne provides leadership for the strong team of professionals in the offices of Alumni, Advancement, and Advancement Services. A proud alumnus of Southern Nazarene University he also serves as a member of the SNU Foundation Board.
