SNU President, Dr. J. Keith NewmanDr. J. Keith Newman was elected as the fifteenth president in the 118 year history of Southern Nazarene University.  His tenure as president began August 1, 2017 .  With 17 years of pastoral ministry in the Church of the Nazarene and 15 years of service as a senior administrator in Christian higher education, Dr. Newman counts it a great privilege to join a Christ-centered community preparing God-called, purpose-driven, passionate servant leaders who make the world better.

Dr. Mike Redwine - Vice President for Student Development and Enrollment ManagementDr. Michael Redwine serves SNU as Executive Vice President.  Now in his 11th year at SNU, Dr. Redwine leads a talented team with a breadth of responsibilities that include student life, enrollment services, financial aid, athletics, spiritual life, housing & residential living, student activities, health services, and student employment.

Dr. Tim Eades, ProvostDr. Tim Eades began his tenure at SNU in June 2019 and has served in Christian higher education since 1994. At SNU, students can find degree programs from the associate to doctoral level, in the classroom or fully online. Dr. Eades’ passion is to see students of all ages experience a quality, relevant, and Christ centered education at SNU! Under his leadership as Provost and Chief Academic Officer, the Office of Academic Affairs coordinates and supports the work of all the academic programs and services of Southern Nazarene University administered       through its academic colleges, schools, and departments.

 Danny Thomason, Director of SNU AthleticsMr. Danny Thomason - Director of Athletics - The Director of Athletics at Southern Nazarene University oversees 17 varsity intercollegiate programs as members of NCAA Division II and the Great American Conference. Thomason’s office is in the 4,000-seat Sawyer Center on the east side of campus.

Dr. Scott Strawn, Chief Financial Officer at SNUDr. Scott Strawn - The Office of Business & Finance exists to help the university provide strong stewardship of all of its resources. The Vice President for Business & Finance serves as the chief financial officer for the University. This office also exists to provide overall supervision and coordination for various support areas including Facilities and Maintenance, Campus Security, Human Resources, and Information Technology.

Dr. Terry Toler, Vice President of Church Relations at SNUDr. Terry Toler has served at Southern Nazarene University since 2000. As Vice President for Church Relationshe represents the university to over 80,000 constituents in more than 600 Nazarene churches on the South Central Region (USA). Additionally, he gives direction to the Resource Center for Pastoral Leadership at SNU and the SNU Creative team.

Chris Peterson is an administrator with over 18 years of diverse Christian higher and secondary education experience. He began his ministry of service at SNU in 2009 where he previously served as the Director of the Career Center and the Director of Human Resources before beginning his current role in 2017. Chris oversees the Enrollment Management department which encompasses both the admissions and financial aid teams.

Intercultural Learning and EngagementDr. Lena Crouso joins SNU as the inaugural Vice President for Intercultural Learning and Engagement. She provides leadership for the design and implementation of institution-wide efforts to ensure diversity, inclusion, equity, respect, and the way of reconciliation is lived out in the SNU community. The ILE team includes Center for Student SuccessTRiO Programs, Center for Global Engagement and RENEW Counseling Center. Dr. Crouso is the daughter of Asian Indian immigrants and states that her journey from Hinduism to Christ, and her diverse life path, have given her a heart and mind for the empowerment of all people through intercultural understanding and a desire to lead people in spiritual, emotional and social transformation and freedom. She serves as the Chief Diversity Officer. Rev. Dr. Crouso is an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene.

Dr. Blair Spindle - University Pastor, Director of Spiritual DevelopmentDr. Blair Spindle - Campus Pastor and Dean of the Chapel 
Dr. Blair Spindle is a pastor who has given over 20 years to local church youth ministry.  He began his ministry at SNU in 2012. Dr. Spindle is passionate about urging students towards life long commitments to Christ and His church.

Dr. Dennis Williams - Vice Provost for Planning and Institutional EffectivenessDr. Dennis Williams - Vice President for Strategy and Innovation and Dean of Teaching and Learning, began his service to SNU in 1994 as a professor of history, and now supports the work of the university's staff and faculty to continuously improve the work of forging Christ-like disciples through higher education. His major areas of responsibility include strategic and integrated planning, faculty development, institutional research, and accreditation management.

Marian has served SNU for 11 years and currently provides oversight to the areas of Career Education, Student Engagement, Residence Life, and SNU's Commons and Conference Services.  This team of student affairs practitioners works to provide excellent service and support for students by encouraging personal and professional learning beyond the classroom.  The relationships they form and the programming they offer truly does contribute to a transforming SNU experience.

Brent LaVigne - Vice President for University RelationsDr. Brent LaVigne - Vice President of University Relations
The office of University Relations exists to inspire, engage, and serve the alumni and partners of Southern Nazarene University. As Vice President of University Relations, Dr. LaVigne provides leadership for the strong team of professionals in the offices of Alumni, Advancement, and Advancement Services. A proud alumnus of Southern Nazarene University he also serves as a member of the SNU Foundation Board.
