Celebrating a Call to Teaching - Past, Present, Future Dinner

Celebrating a Call to Teaching Dinner at SNU School of Education, February 26th 2018

On Monday evening, Feb. 26, the SNU School of Education will be hosting its annual "Celebrating a Call to Teaching - Past, Present, Future" dinner for SNU graduates who are in their first year of teaching and prospective students (Jr.'s and Sr.'s in high school) who are considering SNU in preparation for careers in teaching.  



Guest speakers for this event this year will include: Senator J.J. Dossett, Oklahoma State Senate, Dr. Robyn Miller, Associate Supt. of Instruction, Oklahoma State Dept. of Education, Ms. Renee Launey-Rodolf, Director, Oklahoma Office Educational Quality & Accountability, and Dr. Keith Newman, SNU President.  Additionally, area schools' "Teachers of the Year" who are SNU School of Education graduates and area school administrators will be sharing encouraging words for the teaching profession.

The SNU School of Education Educator Preparation Program continues to seek dedicated individuals who are "called" to the mission of teaching, and is committed to preparing effective P-12 educators that will positively impact student learning.
