SNU's School for Children - a Child Development Laboratory School - Challenger Care Program
Challenger Care

The Challenger Care Program is a safe, fun, and caring environment for Challenger Care - School for Childrenour students. A variety of supervised games, crafts, and enrichment opportunities are offered, as well as snacks, scheduled homework time and daily opportunities to socialize with friends. It is licensed by DHS as a childcare program. It is an extension of the SNU School for Children and is a well-loved service of our parents.

Challenger Care is a business and as with all businesses, certain guidelines must be followed and all obligations met. We believe these policies will protect this service and ensure that the children who attend will be well cared for and safe while at Challenger Care.

The program is open to all School for Children students. An enrollment form must be filled out and turned in for your child to be considered enrolled in Challenger Care. (This applies to full-time students or drop-in students.)

All staff undergo a background check and meet or exceed all requirements set by the state of Oklahoma’s DHS and SNU School for Children. The program maintains a staffing ratio of one adult to ten children at all times. In addition, the DHS inspectors visit the programs regularly.
