Admissions Checklist for Traditional Applicant

1. Application for Admissions
- Separate and complete the application page. Don't forget to sign it!

Save time and apply online!

2. Application Fee
- Submit your $35 application fee using either check or money order. (Please do not mail cash with your application.) This non-refundable, one-time fee will be applied to your graduation costs.

3. Test Scores
- Submit official ACT or SAT test scores. The ACT request code for SNU is 3384. The SAT request code is 6036.

4. Admission Interview
- SNU requires each applican to participate in an Admission Interview with a member of the Office of Admissions, or where appropriate, with an SNU faculty member. The Admission Interview should be scheduled in conjunction with a campus visit. To schedule an interview and campus visit, contact the Office of Admissions at 800.648.9899

5. High School Transcript
- Request official copies of your current high school transcript to be sent to Southern Nazarene University. If you have already graduated, simply submit an official copy of your final high school transcript.

  • Seven-semester high school transcript in a sealed envelope from the institution.
  • Official final high school transcript in a sealed envelope from the institution.
  • Home-schooled students need to provide a notarized transcript.

6. College Transcripts
Request official transcripts to be sent from all colleges attended, even if no credit was
earned or grades received.

7. Registration Deposit
$250 for enrollment (refundable through April 30)

May 1 - Fall semester applicants
November 1 - Spring semester applicants

8. Welcome 101 Notebook
Complete and submit the information requested for housing. All items must be returned
before a room and roommate can be assigned. The Welcome 101 notebook is available to you online at my.snu.edu. If you submitted a paper applicaion your Welcome 101 will be mailed to you soon.

  • FORM I: SNU Need-Based Financial Assistance
  • FORM J: Federal Work Study
  • FORM K: Payment Plans
