Department of Psychology & Counseling

The Department of Psychology and Counseling is dedicated to developing students into persons who embody compassion, patience, presence, curiosity, thoughtfulness, and imagination. Our courses are designed to study the breadth of human nature in an effort to enhance critical thinking, empirical understanding, and research practices from within a distinctly Christian and Wesleyan perspective.

For an undergraduate student our programs are designed to deepen one’s understanding of psychology, whether one desires to attend graduate school or is looking to pursue other professional disciplines/interests.

For the graduate student our programs are designed to develop qualified, credible professionals whose career endeavors and research are guided by a Christian perspective.
