Southern Nazarene University - Character Culture Christ

SNU School for Children is a Child Development Laboratory School on the campus. We are dedicated to training Christian teachers for public, private, and Christian schools, while providing a complete program of educational excellence for children at the Pre-kindergarten through 5th grade levels.

Believing that all children can learn and that children must construct their own knowledge through participation in an active learning environment, the SNU School for Children is dedicated to excellence in education.

The School for Children is fully accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education, North Central Accreditation Association, and NCATE (National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education). This is the highest accreditation a school can have.

All of our teachers are highly qualified by state and national standards for the grade they teach. In fact, every School for Children teacher has a Master’s Degree.
