Employment Information

All part-time, full-time, internship opportunities, temp positions and summertime employment are posted on our SNU campus intranet web site and may be viewed from the "Job/Career Search" link at my.snu.edu. The site is available to all registered traditional and adult studies students.

The primary focus of the Office is to assist students in locating part-time, full-time, temporary and summertime employment opportunities, and assisting in setting up internships. Those students who qualify for federal work study funding through the Financial Assistance office are given priority for on-campus employment opportunities. In addition, several area non-profit community organizations and 2 area school districts partner with SNU to allow federal work study student employment at several off-campus locations.

Our student assistants will be happy to assist students personally in their job search efforts. One student computer in the Office may be used during business hours for researching employment information on the SNU campus intranet or any of the many Internet Web site locations, as well as writing cover letters and resumes, or just working on homework! Assistance in completing job applications is also available upon request. There is also an available fax machine for students to use.

Please contact the SNU Career Services and Student Employment Office if you have any questions regarding a list of federal work study community schools and organizations. You may call the Office at #405-491-6684 or send your questions to the director via his email address cpeterso@snu.edu.
